Our grants are small, but we hope meaningful. We do our best to help on a “most-needed” and timely basis.

They must receive no government money, but rely solely on donations and fundraising.Their finances and/or tax filings must be verifiable on GuideStar.They must spend less than 20% of their income on publicity/fundraising/advertising/administration.They must be mostly volunteer, with no more than one paid staff member.Their adoption contracts must stipulate that if a placement doesn’t work out for any reason, the animals must be returned to them.Rescues must do home checks before adoption and follow-up visits after.All animals must be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped before placement.They must have a verifiable online presence (website, Facebook Page, other).Rescue organizations must be registered 501(c)(3) nonprofits.
